Gen Z Voices Uganda is a youth-led organization founded in 2025, dedicated to amplifying young people's voices through advocacy, research, and community engagement. We focus on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), mental health, and leadership development across Uganda.
From school outreach to digital health tools, we work across multiple areas to empower Uganda's youth.
Education
We visit schools across Uganda to deliver age-appropriate, evidence-based Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights education directly to young people.
Advocacy
We equip young people with the skills and platforms to advocate for their own rights β from debate competitions to community forums and policy engagement.
Community
Our volunteer network delivers health information, referrals, and free resources directly into communities β meeting young people where they are.
Health
Connecting young people to post-abortion care, HIV/AIDS services, mental health support, and family planning through our free mobile application.
Menstrual Health
Distributing free reusable sanitary towels to disadvantaged women across Kampala through our volunteer network β delivered directly to their door.
Leadership
Training young people to become confident, informed leaders in their communities through mentorship, debate programs, and capacity-building workshops.
Podcasts
We run two youth-centred podcast platforms that create safe, unfiltered spaces for young people to speak, share, and be heard.

Hosted the Buikwe District SRHR Tournament at St. Noah SSS Mawaggali, bringing together schools to compete in debate, public speaking, and poetry on health rights.
Organised the Mukono District SRHR Debate Tournament at Bishop SS Mukono, uniting schools in powerful debate, poetry, and public speaking on youth health and rights.
Delivered SRHR education and health information directly to students in over 50 schools across multiple districts in Uganda.
Developed and launched Uganda's first youth-focused SRHR referral app β free for all young people on Android and web.
Distributing free reusable sanitary pads to disadvantaged women across Kampala through our growing volunteer network.
